Love Out Loud Fest Brings Free Music, Art, and Community to Louisville on July 23
Founded by Louisville artist Tayzzy, the event features R&B performers Baby Grace, Just Joey, and Penny Marguax, plus face painting, tarot readings, and local vendors
LOUISVILLE, KY — On Thursday, July 23, from 7:00–11:00 PM, Louisville’s Jubilee Field will transform into a vibrant celebration of music, creativity, and community during the inaugural Love Out Loud Fest. Created by Louisville R&B artist Tayzzy (Kayleigh Knies), the festival is a free, community-centered event designed to make meaningful experiences accessible to everyone, regardless of income.
Love Out Loud Fest was built on a simple belief: everyone deserves the opportunity to experience joy, connection, and community without breaking the bank. At a time when many festivals and events have become increasingly expensive, Love Out Loud offers an alternative where people can gather, celebrate, and simply exist together in a welcoming space.
Admission to the festival is completely free, and many of the interactive activities will operate on a pay-what-you-can basis. Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy experiences like face painting, rave braids, tarot readings, local vendors, food, and more, allowing attendees to support local artists and small businesses at whatever level they are able.
The evening will feature an exciting lineup of independent R&B artists, showcasing the incredible talent found throughout the region. Performers include:
● Tayzzy
● Baby Grace
● Just Joey (Gary, Indiana)
● Penny Marguax
Each artist brings their own unique sound and perspective to the stage, highlighting the diversity and creativity within the independent R&B community.
More than just a music festival, Love Out Loud is an intentional space where people from all backgrounds are encouraged to come as they are. While the event was created with Louisville’s queer community in mind, everyone is welcome to attend. The festival celebrates authenticity, self-expression, and the power of gathering together through music, art, and shared experiences.
Community involvement is at the heart of the event. Local artists, makers, organizations, volunteers, and small businesses all play an important role in bringing Love Out Loud Fest to life. Those interested in supporting the festival can attend the event, volunteer, become a vendor, or help spread the word by sharing the event with friends and family.
Whether you’re coming for the live music, to discover local creators, to enjoy the pay-what-you-can experiences, or simply spend an evening surrounded by community, Love Out Loud Fest invites everyone to show up exactly as they are.
