This June, Midwestern Lesbian is hosting over 15 events throughout Cincinnati! Just over the river from Kentucky, we’ll be celebrating every week with events ranging from coloring book nights and pronoun pin making to drag shows and dance parties! We try to create a wide variety of events for the community to attend. Our goal is to get people to meet someone new, create a safe environment for everyone, and also create spaces for our sapphic community. HomeMakers Hangouts with Midwestern Lesbian – Every Wednesday at HomeMakers Bar – 6 to 9 p.m.

Every Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m., join Midwestern Lesbian for a new, chill, and fun event for the LGBTQ+ community! During Pride Month, we’ll be hosting some chill events for people to sit down, relax and enjoy our community in a low-key and welcoming environment. 

June 4: DIY Pronoun Button Making – celebrate who you are by making your own pronoun button with us! All crafting supplies provided!

June 11: Blind Date with a Book – Bring your favorite book, wrapped in paper, with a vague description written on the front (no titles, no author names), just a few intriguing hints to spark curiosity. Then, trade with others and discover your next unexpected read!

June 18: Black LGBTQ+ Icons Singo – This week we’re partnering with Melanin Magic (Cincinnati’s only all black drag and burlesque revue) for Black LGBTQ+ Icons Singo! It’s like bingo, but with music! Happy Hour from 6 to 7 p.m., and singo will start at 7 p.m.!

June 25: Coloring Book Night – It’s the week of Cincinnati Pride and we’re keeping it chill to prepare for a long and busy weekend! Join us for an evening of coloring, relaxation and community! Coloring books and coloring materials will be provided, or bring your own!

OTR Pride and Pride Kick Off Party – June 6 to June 8

Kick off Pride month at OTR Pride! OTR Chamber of Commerce has created a weekend FULL of Pride events! Including a Community Kick Off at Findlay Market! Then on Saturday, join us on Main St. for the Pride in OTR Street Faire! After the faire, join Midwestern Lesbian at PiNS for a Pride Kick Off Party that will have free duck-pin bowling, a ping-pong tournament, drink specials and more! Then end the weekend with Wigs & Waffles at Rhinegeist on Sunday or at the Tea Dance at Fountain Square!
