There are no words for the depth of this loss, and I am still trying to process the unimaginable. Lane was deeply loved, and his absence leaves a space that can never be filled. Thank you to everyone who has reached out with prayers, messages, and kindness. Information regarding a memorial will be shared when available. I ask for privacy and grace as our family learns how to move forward without him.”
Born in August 14, 1994 in Lexington and raised in Versailles, Rogers was a proud Kentuckian whose life reflected resilience, creativity and self-determination. He rose to prominence as an adult-entertainment performer and content creator, building a wide following.
Rogers was open about the challenges he faced growing up, including an early and difficult coming-out experience, and often spoke about how those hardships shaped his empathy and desire to uplift others. Over time, he reclaimed his identity, choosing to center his work under his own name and using his platform to support emerging creators, particularly those from marginalized communities.
During a 2022 interview with Queer Kentucky, Rogers described Kentucky as a “Bit of north, a bit of south. Incredibly mixed identity. We’re midwestern but also southern; we have a big Ohio influence with the true holler. There’s some West Virginia and Tennessee influence. Indiana is in the north of the state. It’s a primary crossroads in the US. There’s an amalgamation of identities that creates this very multifaceted pool of ideas and expression.”
Beyond his professional life, Rogers was known for his love of animals, food, gaming and travel.
